I just finished watching Jamie Oliver's new TV documentary, Food Revolution, and have to say that it's about time! Being just 4 years shy of having graduated from High School I still remember the lack luster choices we had to make while grazing the lunch line. Donuts or pizza, soda or "juice" [if you can call the sugar water juice].

I agree with Jamie when he says that it's not the adults eating unhealthy that bothers him, rather it's the children. Somewhere during those 8 hours a day that children spend at school they are mostly likely going to get hungry! Having healthy options available to them would significantly impact their diets, which in turn would have massive benefits for their physical and mental health. If we expect America's children to be at their best while attending school, then it's our duty to supply them with our best resources.
So the revolution starts here. Let's take responsibility for our choices and in doing so, supply our children with the best possible resources to become everything they want to be.
